CLINICAL AND HEALTH PSYCHOLOGY

Students in Clinical and Health Psychology can get in touch with: Abnormal and health psychology, neuropsychology and related areas.

The clinical and health psychology concentration area covers a wide range of important topics about how our mind and behavior relates to our physical and mental health.

?

How does our brain work?
What will happen when it is impaired?

?

?

?

?

Is human sexuality a result of biological predisposition, upbringing, or cultural values?

What is ‘normal’ and ‘abnormal’?

?

When someone is anxious or depressed, what can be done?

?

While some of our students who have completed the clinical and health psychology concentration area choose to pursue a research career or become mental health practitioners, the undergraduate training in this area is intrinsically interesting. This discipline is close to our daily life and students get to understand the interaction between our mind and body in a comprehensive and scientific manner.
