研究興趣

My research focuses on cognitive and neural aspects of spoken and written language processing. I am particularly interested in reading acquisition, dyslexia, and second language learning. One goal is to understand the neural basis of individual differences in language processing and to make use of this knowledge in therapeutic and educational settings. Another goal is to understand the neural mechanisms involved in reading in different languages and writing systems, in order to improve learning strategies in first and second language acquisition. My research involves behavioral and functional neuroimaging techniques, such as EEG-based event-related potentials (ERP) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).
