Research Interests
One of my main research interests is in clinical child psychology, particularly on one neurodevelopmental disorder, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). I collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of researchers from psychology, psychiatry, neuroscience and genetics locally and overseas to work on the phenotypes and genotypes of ADHD. My study on ADHD starts with an epidemiologic survey. This interest on epidemiology currently expands to cover other child and adolescent disorders. At the more applied side of my research, I conduct psychometric studies on many mental health measures as well as clinical trials of psychological intervention on mental health problems of diverse populations.
