Industrial-Organizational (I/O) Psychology

SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY studies how people’s thoughts, feelings and behaviours are influenced by the actual or imagined presence of other people. Social psychologists also look into how individuals’ intrapsychic factors (e.g., beliefs or goals) influence their interactions with others.

Industrial-Organizational (I/O) Psychology is an applied psychology in workplace. I/O psychologists apply psychological theories to organisations with an aim of increasing workers’ productivity and wellbeing, which helps the organisation achieve greater success.
